I had been up to space a couple of times to do engineering work on the space station, or something. Both times I had ridden up on the shuttle, which was somehow still in service. While on the ground I spent a bit of time thinking about the solid rocket boosters, and also about how the shuttle had to have enough fuel onboard to make a soft vertical landing when it came back down (forgetting that the shuttle lands like a plane.)

Someone asked if I had been to space and I said "yes, but only a couple of times", as if I didn't think it was that impressive a feat, but right as I said it I realized how silly that was. Maybe this was a metaphor for my time working on Factorio, "but only on the terrain generator."
