Some friends and I were...trying to make a go of it in a very Timberbornesque situation. The section of the world we were in stopped abruptly at a square boundary, and there was lots of water flowing around.

We had almost gotten ourselves situated with a nice little hidey-hole when a storm started. There were tornadoes coming through, and flooding, and since our hidey-hole wasn't quite ready yet, we were all struggling to hold onto something and not get swept away.

That part of the dream morphed into something that seemed to be based on Avatar (the James Cameron movie), "which is mostly about the Na'vi, but also Jake Sully" I had to remind myself, since I wasn't seeing a lot of Na'vi. This was actually about a bunch of spacemen who were stranded on an alien planet and needed to build a space elevator to get off. They had just barely enough rockets to get the first cable up, which they'd then use to pull up a larger cable, etc. So this was basically the plot of a factory-building game.

Finally, I was hanging out with John Samuelson. He was complaining about some client of partner that was being uncooperative and super overcomplicating things.
