No time, Wally dream, DSITBC - 2000-09-06 - Entry 26 - TOGoS's Journal

I have absolutely no time to do anything. I have to go to school, come home, go to work, come home, and then I have just enough time to write this and then go to bed. I lost my lunch today, and had to go buy a sandwich. I also started the 'Dan Stevens is the Best' club today. I got 12 people (including me) to sign up.

Last night I had a dream in which I was at school and I was supposed to go up to Mr. Shoessow's office which was at the top of some stairs. Apparently, he didn't like people walking up the stairs ahead of him, so he got mad and picked me up and threw me down the stairs.

It seems I lost the two entries for the dreams where I couldn't wake up. I was just thinking about those while trying to go to sleep. I'll try to redo them as best I can here. In the first one, it started out that I was mulder from TXF, getting a tour or something of this doom-level-looking building. It was a bunch of narrow hallways with high concrete walls and no celing (you could look up and see a nice blue sky). Near the end of the tour, I was taken down a back hall (or alley) and through a door that went into a pitch-black room with a dimly blue glowing piano, a spiral staircase, and a light fixture. While I was in there, not being able to see anything and having to feel my way around. Then I realized it was a dream and woke up. I was in a bed in a big dark, blue room. I got up and went out the door and through the funny place with the high concrete walls, and ended up on a path on the side of a hill through a forest with some guy. We saw some cars and trucks go by on a highway ahead. Then I woke up. I think I was back in the bed in the big blue room. At this point I realized that I was still dreaming and that I wasn't waking up. I wanted to wake up, but decided that as long as I couldn't, I ought to go do some stuff I wouldn't be able to otherwise, like jump out the window, which I did. Then one time when I woke up, I found I couldn't open my eyes more than a crack. It looked like the view from my bed, but I wasn't sure. I figured that what I was seeing was probably real, but I couldn't move at all, except for my eyes a little tiny bit. I kept trying to move and eventually I woke up.

The other one was real scary. I really wanted to wake up and was afraid I would not ever be able to. I thought about how I really had no idea how long it had been since I fell asleep. It might be days later and I could be in a hospital somewhere. It was scary.

There was one other time that this happened within the past month, I think. I was sleeping on the brown couch in the basement, and woke up enough to see the light from the north window. At that point I didn't know if I was dreaming or not. Then I woke up enough to open my eyes most of the way. I think I could look around the room, but I could barely move. I couldn't move my arms or legs at all, but I could rock my whole body back and forth a little bit. I tried yelling, but I could only say "uuuuhhhhh" really softly. I kept wiggling and saying "uuuuhhhhh" until I finally said "uuaAAAAH". And got up. That one was especially creepy because I was almost as concious as I am right now.
