Plate Tectonics - 2004-04-05 (Monday) - Entry 448 - TOGoS's Journal

Well, it's actually Tuesday morning.

Reading web is fun. While doing Bilogy homework and making a joke about 'Salmonella' (see, it's like "Salmon"), I got to reading about 'Gastrointestinal tract'. After that, I was lead to 'Chordata', which is like Vertibrates. That page had a link to the page about Anapsida, which are basically Turtles. It seems that the Anapsida were mostly wiped out by the Permian-Triassic extinction event, the wiki page about which I haven't actually finished reading, as I got off it by following the 'Pangea' link. This is where it gets fun. See, not finding as many picures of the continents at different times as I wanted on Wikipedia, I did a quick google search and was led to Geology.com/pangea.htm, which I cut back to just Geology.com. I followed the 'Plate tectonics' link, which took me to a list of websites, including one called "The Paleomap Project". The URL looked a bit loke a goatse link at first ("scotese"), but lucky for me, it wasn't exactly (well, not like goatse's around anymore, anyway :.( *whimper* poor goatese.cs).

I spent a few hours on this web site, but it was not a solid few hours, as I on occasion was distracted by wiki pages on Mary-J or Riven, and at one time even slashdot (actually, it was Slashdot that led me to check out Riven). Finally, I finished up reading about Earth History and realized what a long way I had come, so wrote it down.

Perhaps I will sleep for a little while, now? YEs. I tried to sleep at about 10:00 or so (I was sleepy), but that didn't last for long, soads.,man i sleepy now i go sleep bye
