2004-09-09 - Entry 522 - TOGoS's Journal

I got to sleep in this morning because I don't have classes until 10:00. So I got well rested, for a change. The higlights of my dreams:

I came home for a break or something. Things didn't seem quite right. Eventually I looked out the front window and realized the neighborhood was all screwed up. I thought maybe they had torn down and rebuilt the houses across the street, but then I realized that even the streets were messed up. Somehow I figured we had been moved to some area near West Town that was inside the beltline. I was looking at maps and stuff and seeing that the roads were all crooked and close together, like a steel mesh that had gotten crushed. At the end Ma was telling me about a swimming pond that there used to be between the houses and took e out to look for it. There were some paths there, but they didn't seem to be the same as they used to.

Later I had a dream in which I was with Deb and a bunch of kids from the church trips. Like Emma and Nora were both there. There was this old movie theater that we seemed to sort of live in. Meanwhile, somebody figured out how to mass-produce carbon nanotubes, and all these fancy new gadgets started appearing. We were having somebody install a new sound system in our theater. And soon we had these shiny plastic bleachers up at the front and these little sound things that everyone got (instead of listening to one big sound system) and, as the instller told me, produced '4D sound'. For some reason I ended up lying around with some girls at the top of the bleachers.

In the last dream I had, I was wandering around somewhere in China with this old dude. We went past this wall that had all these chinese flags on it and we went by a place with lots of dogs that tried to attack us. At the end we were walking along this gravel road trying to get to PD (I dunno why we were going through China to get to PD). There was a big puddle in the way, so we were walking around it. Through a field along the ridge to the left of the trail.
