Gast makes a sweet hall - 2006-02-09 9:25 - Entry 759 - TOGoS's Journal

I had quite a dream this morning. I think it started out with me following Gast around one night as he sort of invented a new section of Doudna. It was mostly a medium-width hallway with concrete walls and not many doors or windows, but somehow he managed to make every part of it look really nice. Lots of mid-level detail, nice lighting, pictures on the walls in the perfect places, etc. At the far end of this main hallway we came to a 'meeting center' that he intended to replace the old one in another building that was kind of rickety.

These people (who looked like red and blue Darwinians). Normally, the red team was 'bad' and started out with much fewer people. During this game, though, some of us blue revolted and started throwing red balls around (red balls are what caused others to become red). The Government got super pissed and tried to lay the smack down on us. At that point the country went into a state of civil war with the government and the traditional blue on one side, and the red and the 'traitor' blue on the other. I and everyone I knew were traitor blue, and we scurried back to the meeting center where the headquarters of our group of folks seemed to be headquartered.

While we were there, though, some infighting broke out relating to which version of the meeting center we should use. The original one, or the one Gast had built. At this point they had become close together and just different rooms in one building, so migrating from one to the other was easy. As time went on and we sent out adventurers (some of whom didn't come back) everyone bacame more solemn and eventually I realized that we had all migrated to the new meeting center. I think we were having talks of demolishing the old one. I was walking back and forth between a room with a long dining table and a television (where this girl that I was hanging out with throughout the dream sat because she didn't want to hear about the real meeting) and a smaller room with some stairways in it where all the uppity decision-making people were.

When we went out adventuring, I think we were trying to pull down telephone poles. Or maybe we weren't trying to, but I did pull down this big huge solid cyllindrical wooden thing accidentally, and my friend there got injured by it.
