This Democracy work-out program is sick! - 2011-03-04 (Friday) 15:00 - Entry 1195 - TOGoS's Journal

Tuesday night was my last night spent in the capitol after having slept on the steps Monday, inside Sunday, at work Saturday, and at the capitol for the first time on Friday. I dreamt that I was in an underground tunnel that went from the capitol to some other building. The tunnels were foggy and smelled nice, and there were yellow lights that looked cool through the mist. I remembered having been in them when I was little and was going in for some surgery (confusing the capitol with the hospital, apparently). There was kind of a maze of stairways and elevators and ladders that you had to traverse to get from the main building down into the tunnel. Normally the doors were all locked, but at certain times of the day and taking a very specific route you could get in.

Wednesday morning I left and went back to work. Got a bagel from Gotham with Adam, Jared, Aaron, and Scott. It had salmon and pickles in it and had a weird aftertaste. I don't think I'll go there again.

Wednesday night I dreamt that I was biking in and around a small town on a steep hill. There were parks that I passed through, and sometimes it rained and/or snowed on me. There was a 4-way intersection that I found a little bit confusing and so I was spending time learning my way around the parks and that intersection before I moved on so I'd be able to find my way around mode easily in the future. It may have been that I would have to bike through here often to get supplies to the protesters.

Off in the distance, across a large highway, on a ridge there was a large cyllindrical cloud. It was the byproduct of some industrial process that went on at that location, so it was always present.

I was in the Taipei subway system, and I boarded a train with yellow horizontal stripes. This was by far the fastest train in the system, with a top speed of over 200MPH. Part of the track passed right through the cloud, which somehow seeped underground and into the train as it passed by. A few stops later I got off into a small cave in a cliffside. There was an old man there with a long gray beard. The way he sat around at the station looking outside all day reminded me of Cranky Kong.

Last night I dreamt that I was living in an apartment building with YC in Taiwan. Due to seismic activity one of the bathrooms was all slanted and couldn't be used for pooping or showering, but it had been re-tiled so it almost looked like it was built that way. Everyone had to use the women's bathroom. I worried about the building's structural integrity.

Moving this entry +2 numbers in case I ever want to fill in about my Taiwan trip...
