I had a dream that Fizz and I were on the road outside of his rents' house discussing chord progressions in Slowdive songs when we heard and smelled a giant yeast explosion nearby. "Oh I hope that wasn't my dad's house", I thought, but of course it turned out that it had been, and that the roof above the living room had been blown off by a beer brewing experiment gone awry. Everybody was fine except for their ears. They had to get a temporary roof over the living room (which now effectively had a 'vaulted ceiling') that had a big window in it, which seemed almost nicer than a regular roof.

Mom was mysteriously 'back', though she was still very old and sleeping a lot. I almost asked dad about that while helping him with the dishes, but then decided it'd be better not to, lest 'too many questions' muck up whatever magic was happening.
