It's been very cold up at the farm lately.

I have once again found that I acclimate to it. After being out in -25F for a while, just below-freezing feels like room temperature.

Today it is warming up. Only -14F. We decided to do the 'throw boiling water in the air' thing while we could. Sara took a video of it [original].

I was stopping by the library a lot, because that's how I was coordinating work with Eric McNull Device. I would drop off work by pouring a jug of water into a cup. "How does it remember what order the samples are supposed to be in?" I wondered out loud. The librarian working behind the desk didn't know, either, but handed me a stack of thick brown envelopes from Eric, with instructions for what to drop off next.
