Dreamt about driving on some 4-lane highway. I'm not sure where I was coming from or going to, but there may have been some frustration relating to having to turn around because I forgot something.
There seemed to be dense forest along the sides and it kind of reminded me of driving between Madison and Verona in another highway-centric dreamn years ago.
I was watching a YouTube about some guys with gliders gliding around over the ocean, to little islands where there were sea creatures who needed help, and, presumably, helping them (we've been watching Octonauts a bit lately).
"That looks so much fun," I thought, "I should get myself a glider! The only trouble is where to store it. I could build a warehouse somewhere."
I didn't have one yet, but I imagined having one, which became basically a lucid dream. Marilla was with me walking around the neighborhood in Madison, and she'd say stuff like "Let's go higher!" and I'd be like "That's not how gliders work; you have to get high first, then glide down." but then it was like we had pogo sticks or something because we were able to bounce way up to the top of a tree and then glide around from there.
Thoughts after waking up were that I was onto something with this glider idea. Flying and moving fast are fun. If I'm going to get exercise it needs to at least involve moving fast. That's why I love downhill skiing and prefer running to going to the gym. Putting in a bunch of effort and then not moving kind of sucks!
Maybe music simulates movement somehow, which is why dancing to hard beats and programming with cool music on are fun, and why I don't mind using the ascent trainer at the gym for long periods as long as I have music to step to.
