he hates kids - Entry 536 - TOGoS's Journal

In my dream I had gone home for the weekend to try to get a jeorb at teh Hom Depot [1]. And later I had to go home for another weekend, except this one was really long and didn't seem much like a weekend but more like a month. And for some reason that one girl was at my house. I went down behind the shopping center and took a chair with me. It was a lot like these wooden chairs in the dorm room, except the cusions were green. On the way I had to cross Mineral Point road, and it was all busy and stuff. Nobody was looking where they were going, so I had to be really careful. Then 2 of the people that weren't looking out had a non-elastic head-on collision. I took advantage of the oppurtunity to cross the road, and crossed the road.

I don't remember what I was doing down by the shopping center, but I was thinking the whole time about how I would probably forget the chair and how I wished I hadn't lugged it down there because it was such a pain to carry around. I was also thinking about the airplanes. I was remembering about being a monkey when I was a little kid, and Heather had built this cool airplane, but it had gotten wrecked. Like the mask that Jon used to scare me with... Heather yelled at me something to the affect of "yeah, you broke it!" Oh yeah, maybe I did...

And sure enough when I got back to my house and I had forgotten the chair. So I got that girl to come with me. It was great because as soon as I asked her to go wander back down to the store with me she took off her shoes and started running there. So I followed. As we were going down the hill she was riding in a wheeled swivel chair (like the one from my room?) and I was pushing. She had dyed her hair black. And it was just a little longer than mine. She smelled kind of nice. We almost got run over by a few trucks when I ran out in the middle of the road and back to the sidewalk with her.

I went and saw a couple movies. Neither of them were great, but I liked the second one because it stuck in my head more. It was sort of like King Arthur but not really. The dude had longish, white hair.

There was this tall black guy that I was taking care of in the hospital. It seemed he hated little kids (or was it monkeys?) so I was trying to get him to where he needed to go and not see them, because he would have fits. We had seen them in one room, and then we had gone down the escalator into the basement and were going along hallways as quicklly as we could to get to this one room. He kept turning around and looking for them, though, which was dumb. Fortunately we seemed to have gotten away.

You don't fly an airplane dehydrated. Some friend of mine was doing that in this yellow home-built plane. You like can't steer and crap. We were trying to get some water to them or something. The grass was growing tall and the man I was with said that they used to do 2-liters at a time. I wasn't sure if he was talking about watering the grass or drinking it himself. Or giving it to his wife, who was flying around running out of water and going too straight and that's how we could tell she was dehydrated.

I had this geography class. Holly sat about 2 seats to the left of me. A-Day or Fizz or some such sat just to my right. Some group was trying to give a presentation so they turned the lights off. There were all these maps up in the front of the room and people were trying to pull them down so they wouldn't just shoot back up. Sort of like my statistics teacher was doing yesterday with the projection screen. Anyway, A-Day was having trouble with one map. I went up and tried to get down another. And it worked, except that it bacame crooked, and it looked like some very strange projection I had never seen before. I sort of too-loudly mentioned that one of the guys giving the presentation looked to be about 13. A-Day or Fizz told me to shut up. Turned out that guy was sort of genetically weird. I thought of saying "Hey I wish I could look that young", but thought better of it before I did. The guy smiled and started talking to us.

But I guess their presentation was over or soemthing, because then the teacher was going to have us take a quiz. Everybody got really confused. Some people started sitting on the floor. Holly stood up and took off her sweater and was wearing this grey polo shirt that I had never seen before but I thought it looked nice on her. She stood there and looked at me. I said "Well if you're going to sit on the floor then so will I!" So I got down and sat next to her. She moved next to me so her leg was pressing against mine. It felt really nice. I tried to put my head on her shoulder but then she sort of backed away. "Maybe next time?" a few seconds later she came back, and I tied to do it again, wrapping my arms around her and saying "look, this is how you do it." I don't remember how that worked out. But then we started taking the quiz. She was all upset that she didn't know some answers. I said "don't worry. I do crappy on these things all the time. The exams usually bring my grade back up."

At the end I was wandering around with Fizz and A-Day. by Russet and Whitney Way. There were a lot of weird people around that said goofy stuff. They asked if I would go to Disney world with them and Fizz said that I'd be getting ready soon. I got kind of pissed off.

Eucalyptus is kind of cool.

[That one girl]: I see her going to and from classes sometimes. I think she's pretty cute. Last night she was eating with some guy, though. Oh, well.

[teh Home Depot]: Now that I read the link, this seems kind of weird: I had gone home for the weekend to work at teh Home Depot, when in reality I had gone home to go to a CLA meeting. In reality, that was when I had the referenced dream.
