2005-03-10 - Entry 611 - TOGoS's Journal

Dreams involved lots of mountains. First, there was this mountain just east of Platteville that supposedly had the highest peak in the state. I went up there sometimes with Fizz. It actually wasn't much of a mountain at all. There was one nicely sloped side with paths on it to walk up, and all the other sides went pretty much straight down. At the top there was just a little plateau about 20 feet across, surrounded by a ledge about 5 feet wide and 10 feet lower. You could sort of see that on the map.

I remembered how my mom used to take me up there when I was really little (and really little reminds me of another part of the dream where I had to take care of Becky, but I don't remember much else about that). When I kept thinking about it, though, I realized that this wasn't the same mountain. And I thought back and I remembered something about the mountain that allowed me to look it up on a map, and it seemed to be down in Indonesia somewhere. And then I remembered being on a boat with a bunch of people.

There was another mountain just southeast of Las Vegas called "Mount Jones". This was supposedly the tallest mountain in the country. There was an old movie we were watching about it, where a bunch of people from eastward of there were going on a trip to the mountain. They brought along a horse and there was this little girl who liked to take the horse out and ride alongside the cars for a while. And for some reason we ended up seeing that part of the movie about 10 times. And meanwhile there was this Doom level that I was playing with lots of imps and a secret that took a while to get to. And somebody reset the game and I had to do it all over again.

There was a really (realy) large wooden structure that someone had built that would have you walking in an easy (but very long) spiral up to the top of the mountain. It used a lot of wood. We were sitting outside in a van watching videos about it. I was trying to convince everyone that the guy in all the videos was David Bowie, even though I didn't think it really was.

We were almost home when I found a big blob of jello. So I threw it up into the air and it fell all over everyone that was around me. And they were wondering what the heck was going on. And then there was this fancy new Navy submarine that had a big floaty thing on the front that prevented it from tipping over or splashing too much. And we were jumping around underwater and saying it was like being on the moon. And then people started accusing Jethro and Elly of being aliens. And then I think there was something about crackers.

So now that we got our internet connection working and I finished UWPSites (almost - I need to get a list of all UWP users somewhere) I have cool new links:

Cats seem relatively popular on these sites.

Oh, and new track 1, new track 2.
