Squirrel, grape vines, Paul Van Dyk music dreams - 2005-10-17 10:44 - Entry 727 - TOGoS's Journal

There was a squirrel sitting on the back porch of my house in Madison. it started raining and he was getting wet, so I stood over him to keep the rain off. He started licking my fingers and it tickled.

We were hanging around just across the bridge, by the golf course. There was something about us having our own house around there, but now we were talking to my dad, we being me and Fizz and Mary and maybe Julia and at least one of the Bens. We all had to go back to school soon, and that was in the back of our minds as my dad was talking to us about how the grapevines that were here were completely accidental. Someone had just spit a lot of grape seeds and later there were all these grape vines that he picked grapes from every year.

Later we were back in Platteville by the dorms. There was a bridge over Greenwood near Morrow. As we walked over the bridge we were watching a bunch of freshmen playing volleyball for a gym credit. I was talking about how that was a fun class because all you had to do was play volleyball. Mary was still with us, and I asked her "aren't you supposed to still be in Germany or something?", but she said something about she'd go back soon, for now she was just visiting us.

Maybe something about driving around in a car. And I'm reminded of that elevator dream.

In the last dream I had before I woke up, we were throwing a party at our house, and there were all these people hanging out in our rooms. It wasn't quite like our house, but it was close. As if I lived in Fizz's room and my room was just the living room and there was a hole in the floor that went to the basement. If you wanted to go to the basement you'd have to get out a ladder and put it down through that hole. People were acting like they wanted to dance so I was working on putting on some Paul Van Dyk and getting the ladders down. By the time I had it all set up most of the people had left, though.
