Springtime in Platteville - 2006-03-30 21:46 - Entry 773 - TOGoS's Journal

Current Homework (that I'm not doing): WOMSTD Journal
Current Reading: Life As We Do Not Know It, by Peter Ward
Current Weather: Very spring-like and plesant
Worm Status: Some of them were getting smart and heading back toward the grass (this was before it started raining again). Others were squished and gross.

It was blowing pretty hard and I was getting cold sitting on a bench outside Wilgus, so I came inside. When I saw that the lounge was full of people I went back out and it rained on me so I quick ran to Otts and cleaned up some of the messes the kids made during expo. The expo was cool - I took a few breaks from explaining D5 to goofy little/highschool kids and saw some other exhibits and got free nachos for talking to a guy about his concrete canoe. Goomey was exploding pennies. Afterwards I went home and tried to sleep because I was really tired. People were trying to play crappy loud guitar and drum music upstairs and that prevented me from dozing off as much as I would've liked. But as soon as I went outside on the way to do DiffEq with Staboh and felt and smelled the warm spring air I wasn't tired any more. Now maybe I go read this book.
