Geese don't wait around to say goodbye - 2006-10-05 8:20 - Entry 855 - TOGoS's Journal

Yesterday morning I dreampt that I was walking to school (as in ORE). It was late fall, maybe there was even a bit of snow. Mostly it was just cold. I had just gotten off a bus down at the end of a dead-end that was in the place of Black Oak (pointing west) and now I was walking back towards Flad park through a lot of slush. When I finally got back to Flad, and was walking west towards school, time seemed to slow down around me. I tried to jump, and everything moved really slowly, but I found that if I concentrated on my jump and pushed with my legs as hard as I could, that when I finally did leave the ground I'd go really far. People around me were watching and looking as if their pigs had just whistled.

Last night I dreampt that one morning, while getting ready for werk, I went off to Milwaukee with Fizz and Armstrong. We had all sorts of adventures (including a bike trip up and down a mountain and a bus ride), and by the time we got back to Madison it was about 22:40. I hoped that the folks at Widen wouldn't mind me being so late for work. It was now dark out, and I found myself running northeast along the bike path. I was at about Glenway when I realized that I was running rather than biking, and that this probably wasn't the best way to get to and from work. Since I was this far already, though, I just kept going. At work I sat in my new desk, which was about where...the new guy sits. I missed my old desk (my real one).
