King chase - 2006-11-04 - Entry 863 - TOGoS's Journal

Dreampt that Fizz and I were visiting Dawne at college. We were staying in this house, and there were a bunch of highschool kids staying with us, because for some reason they didn't have anywhere else to go. One night the police came by and saw them there, and I knew they were going to come back the next day, so I told everyone to scram. Fizz and I had to leave, too, so went to this carnival in the nearby forest. There were these big wide paths that people were walking around on, and we just went along with the rest of the crowd. At one point we looked back and saw the king, and we were like "oh no! the king!", because he wanted us dead. And at that point we scooted off onto another trail so he wouldn't spot us. This trail went out into this large clearing in the middle of the forest where there was a cool bridge that went across a valley with another trail under it.

Eventually I got out of there completely, and came out of the forest and onto a highway through the country. The kings guards were driving around nearby so I had to find a place to hide quick. After running down these highways for a bit I found a woodsy area and stepped through into a nicely mowed backyard. I worried that I had just walked into the king's yard, so I quick scooted off to the left, through another line of trees, and into a big field. At first I couldn't figure out what this place was, but then I realized it was where they kept all the carnival equippment while it wasn't being used. Figuring nobody would be there for a lont time, I went into a shed where there were stacks of black plastic crates that could be pulled out individially, like droors. It reminded me of the cabinet I had previously stored my stuff in back in the house. I piled my stuff into one of the crates and walked back toward the door of the shed, looking past the field to the highway. Then suddenly everything got black. I thought the king's guards had blocked out the sun to confuse me so they could catch me easily. Eventually I realized that everything had gone black because I had woken up in the middle of the night and was staring into my dark room.
