A reasonable respite from reality - 2016-12-08 - Entry 1448 - TOGoS's Journal

I had a dream that Sara and I were on a little road trip because she had to go sing somewhere. I brought both my laptops and they could use each other's power supplies. We saw an advert for a car that changed the hue of the light coming in to suit one's mood. There was sunny day mode which made everything more blue, for example. Mostly I think it tried to enhance whatever colors were outside anyway. In the advert a guy was driving over a bridge and everyone was smiling. But I thought it was kind of dumb.

There was also a part about a bunch of people who were all former outing club members wanted to go to Delta Lodge together. I warned them that Big John wasn't with the club anymore so some of the magic of that trip was gone.

In a seemingly unrelated set of dreams I was running along a path next to a highway. I had run out of town and later was running back to it, but the coming back seemed to take forever. Like, I kept passing cross roads expecting to be back at the outskirts of town but not being there yet. But I did reach them eventually.

Sara Metcalf:
Oh, there s a coupon in my store every month.
It's five bucks off of a certain product
if you spend 10 bucks on the store.
This month's coupon is for collectivo coffee.
If you're interested in you can stop by my work this evening
and have an excellent reason to see me. :D 10:24 AM
Sara Metcalf:
Coupon is online or at the front desk. 10:25 AM
Me:
  Oh hmm okay. 10:25 AM
Sara Metcalf:
You know, some times we could work our schedules together.
Like some times you could bike over to my work
at the time when I'm getting done and we could
put your bike in my car, and perhaps go some place to eat
before going to your house. Or lots of stuff. 10:31 AM
Me:
  That'd be nice. 10:35 AM
Sara Metcalf:
My car is still full of stuff right now,
but it won't be for ever 10:36 AM
Me:
Postman delivered some packages to the wrong house
so I carried them one road over. 10:36 AM
Sara Metcalf:
How nice of you 10:36 AM
